Episcopalians on Baptismal Mission

EBM is a partnership dedicated to the ministry of all the baptized in their daily life and work. Our goal is to be a catalyst in helping TEC live into Baptism as the cornerstone of all ministries. Since our founding in 2006, we have led workshops and conferences, written articles and a book, Radical Sending, Go to Love and Serve (Morehouse), launched a website with a blog (www.livinggodsmission.org), worked with seminaries, and sponsored resolutions through the General Convention. Our C005 resolution during the last convention (2018) was accepted and implemented by a General Convention task force. We anticipate being a partner in the task force’s recommendations. We envision a congregation being like a base camp: there to equip (Ephesians 4: 12), encourage, support, guide the hikers/parishioners in their daily life ministries at work, in the community and at home.
